Terms of Service

These terms cover your use of comment-pickers.com (“CommentPickers”, “we”, “us”). By using the site you accept them. If you do not, please do not use it.
What the service does
CommentPickers reads the public comments on an Instagram post or Reel you give us a link to, applies the entry rules you choose, and selects one or more winners at random. We do not run your giveaway, contact your winners, or hold your prize.
Free and Pro
- Free. A limited number of draws each day, taking a first pass over the comments on a post. The allowance applies per person whether or not you have an account.
- Pro.A monthly subscription: unlimited draws, and a much deeper read of each post's comments. Everything else is identical to Free.
Comments reach us in batches from a third-party provider, and each batch returns a variable number of them, so how much of a post a single draw covers is never exact. The allowance that applies to you is always shown in the tool itself. We may change these limits; if a change reduces what a paid plan includes, we will tell subscribers before it takes effect.
Your account
You are responsible for keeping your password safe and for everything done through your account. Tell us at [email protected] if you think it has been used without your permission. One person or organisation, one account.
Payment
Pro is sold through Stripe, which acts as merchant of record: Stripe takes the payment, is responsible for any sales tax, VAT or GST due, issues your invoice, and appears on your card statement. The subscription renews monthly until cancelled. Prices are shown before you pay and, in the markets we price locally, in your own currency. See our refund policy.
Cancelling
Cancel any time from your account page. Pro continues until the end of the period you have already paid for, then stops. We can suspend or close an account that abuses the service, tries to defeat the free allowance, or uses the site unlawfully.
Acceptable use
- Do not use the site for anything unlawful, or to run a lottery you are not entitled to run.
- Do not attempt to access data that is not public, or to work around the daily allowance.
- Do not scrape, resell or automate the service beyond ordinary personal or business use.
CommentPickers is independent. It is not sponsored, endorsed, administered by or associated with Instagram or Meta, and their names are used only to describe what the tool reads. Your giveaway is yours to run and must follow Instagram's own promotion rules and the law where you and your entrants are.
No warranty, and what we are liable for
The service is provided “as is”. Comments come from a third-party provider and from Instagram itself; we cannot guarantee that every comment on a post is retrieved, that a post is readable, or that the service is uninterrupted. To the extent the law allows, our total liability to you is limited to what you paid us in the twelve months before the claim. Nothing here excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
Changes
We may update these terms. Material changes will be posted here with a new date, and for subscribers we will give notice before they apply to your next renewal.
